Since 2010, iEDM have provided site management, safety and risk services to V8 Supercars for the Supercheap Bathurst 1000. We are proud to be associated with the greatest race in Australia and one of the most famous circuits in the world.

iEDM provide the following services for the great race:

Overlay design drawings;
Construction planning;
Site management for all overlay infrastructure;
Provision of general labour;
Line-marking of campgrounds;
Work Health and Safety personnel and planning;
Risk management services; and,
Compliance auditing.

During our time working on this major event, iEDM have established an excellent working relationship with Bathurst Regional Council.

Each year, the Albert Park Lake precinct undergoes an extraordinary transformation as it prepares to host one of the most exhilarating motorsport races in the world. In 2023, the event surpassed all expectations, boasting the largest attendance in history and surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2022, with an incredible 444,631 fans across the four days!

The Newcastle 500 project went beyond a street circuit, encompassing major infrastructure upgrades and urban revitalisation. It involved new water mains, smart city infrastructure, telecommunications networks, stormwater networks, and the creation of additional parking spaces.
