iEDM was founded by John Howe, an engineering professional with history of delivering outcomes for clients across a range of sectors, from large high-rise buildings to entertainment precincts, major events and tourism products.

John’s previous business of approximately 100 engineers and designers, Weathered Howe, was involved in projects across South East Queensland and Asia. John is a leading expert in motorsport circuit engineering design in Australia and mentors our technical engineering team.
John also sits on the Board of ASX listed Axiom Properties and the Advisory Board of Education Gold Coast and Griffith University.

Since retirement in 2008, Mark has acted as iEDM’s lead circuit designer on various projects such as the Sydney Olympic Park street circuit, Newcastle Street Circuit, Pukekohe Park Raceway and the Brisbane Auto Mall test facility.
Mark also plays a key leadership group in the executive team of iEDM and is the Chairman of the Motorsport Australia Track Safety Committee.

He holds expertise across scheduling, estimating, design management, contract management and construction management as well as providing clients with strategic project advisory.
Liam was the architect of iEDM’s project quality and safety systems. He also designed our bespoke in-house project management and risk management software.
Liam is involved in the ideation phase of projects, he understands how to translate this phase into clearly defined project outcomes and then create the frameworks and milestones to achieve these outcomes.

With experience across transport, urban infrastructure, sports infrastructure and major event overlay projects, Tom is an inspiring project leader. His technical strengths are in design management, motorsport engineering, procurement, financial control and Government reporting.
Tom has been iEDM’s Project Director for iconic projects such as the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and the Albert Park FORMULA 1 ™ Circuit Modifications.

With broad professional experience across multiple sectors and extensive formal qualifications in environmental management, engineering, disaster risk and sustainable development, Josh brings a unique skillset to the Company and Clients. Through detailed assessment of Client position and values, Josh has the ability to strategically optimise performance in line with organisational objectives by adopting a risk-based approach.
Josh has contributed as a project manager for many of iEDM’s projects, such as the Sydney 500, Gold Coast 600 and acting as the Lead Project Manager for the $40M Newcastle CBD Renewal project in 2017. He also plays important roles in key strategic projects such as Supercars Australia's Return to Racing Covid-19 Response and the development of iEDM's SafeEvent Risk Management platform.
