Since 2022, iEDM has been managing critical infrastructure upgrades at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit to meet MotoGP safety regulations. Following feedback from FIM after the 2022 event, major works were undertaken across the circuit, including at Turn 1, Turn 11/12, and the Pit Straight.

In 2022, the 16th FINA World Championships (25m) were held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC). This prestigious international event required extensive temporary infrastructure and logistics solutions to accommodate athletes, media, and spectators.

iEDM was honoured to be selected by FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 Pty Ltd as the Overlay Managing Contractor for the competition venues in Australia, including the prestigious International Broadcast Centre.

The AFL Gather Round event aimed to celebrate football while actively engaging the local community. iEDM played a crucial role in planning, procuring, managing, ensuring safety, and delivering all temporary infrastructure across the Adelaide Hills and Norwood venues.

The Newcastle 500 project went beyond a street circuit, encompassing major infrastructure upgrades and urban revitalisation. It involved new water mains, smart city infrastructure, telecommunications networks, stormwater networks, and the creation of additional parking spaces.

The 2022 VALO Adelaide 500 V8 Supercar event (previously named the Adelaide 500 V8 Supercar Event) kicked off again in December 2022 in spectacular fashion after a Pandemic-forced hiatus.

iEDM was engaged in 2019 by the Australian Grand Prix to deliver the design and development of circuit upgrades to Albert Park, the first upgrade in the venue's 25 year history.

iEDM annually deliver approximately $40M of overlay infrastructure for this major project on behalf of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation. We provide engineering, project management and principal contractor services for this project through the streets of Albert Park, Melbourne.

With a critical engineering and construction focus required, iEDM were engaged by AME Management to plan and oversee the install and delivery of this Supercross track at Marvel Stadium.

iEDM, with Mark Skaife, was commissioned by the WA Department of Sports and Recreation to develop the original motorsport concept masterplan for the $15 Million upgrade.

iEDM were engaged by Bathurst Regional Council (BRC) to provide a preliminary design and feasibility study ultimately lead to approval granted for construction of second circuit at Mount Panorama.

In 2010, the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival underwent a massive change to the course for the Sydney Marathon which was brought about by sustained growth of the event and its need to create a better traffic flow through the city.

iEDM, in collaboration with Skaife Racing, developed the below concept as part of a bid to design a second circuit on the southern side of the infamous Mount Panorama.

iEDM had various engagements in the lead up to and during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, working for the Organising Corporation, Gold Coast City Council, the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning and assisting Contractors to deliver overlay scope.

iEDM developed a concept design for a proposed street circuit around the 2012 London Olympic site.

iEDM, with Ernst & Young, were engaged by Motorsport Australia (MSA) to develop a business case for a motorsport precinct in Fiskville, Victoria.

The V8 Supercars Gold Coast event was historically known as the Gold Coast Indy from 1991 to 2008.

iEDM was engaged by V8 Supercars and the Homebush Motor Racing Authority (a NSW Government Agency) to deliver the inaugural 2009 V8 Supercar Event at Sydney Olympic Park.

iEDM were approached by Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) and ML Design to provide circuit design advice for the concept of an Auto Mall to be built adjacent to Brisbane’s International Airport.

The inaugural Newcastle 500 was held in November 2017 and was hailed a major success for the Sport and the City.

In 2009, the Townsville 400 won the Event of the Year Award at the annual V8 Supercar Gala Awards Ceremony.

The Adelaide International was held in January 2020, a 7-day tournament which replaced the existing 3 day, World Tennis Challenge.

Over four days of motorsport and concerts, the 500 Adelaide is one of Australia’s largest annual events.iEDM deliver approximately $17M of overlay infrastructure for this major South Australian Project, on behalf of the South Australian Tourism Commission.

In 2018, iEDM were engaged by the Melbourne Racing Club, to investigate options available to improve the safety of the notorious turn 6 at Sandown Raceway.

When Clipsal 500 Adelaide planned on refreshing their 18,000 seats (approximately), a major marketing campaign was required to convince their loyal patrons that the change was going to be positive.

iEDM were engaged by Ipswich Motor Precinct (IMP) to provide circuit and precinct concept master planning services for a planned $220M upgrade to the Queensland Raceway.

iEDM was commissioned by Gold Coast City Council (GCCC) to provide all design and project management for the 2014 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships (PPSC).

iEDM were approached by CAMS to assist with the development of drawing package to gain FIA Grade 3 approval for various circuits around Australia.

Reid Park is an event precinct in Townsville which was built in 2009 and jointly funded by all levels of Government.

iEDM was approached by V8SC to assist with the development of a strategy to take the temporary infrastructure from the Hamilton Street Circuit to create a cost effective upgrade to the Pukekohe Park Raceway.

iEDM was approached by Red Bull Australia to create 3D Visualisation for their X-Fighters round at Cockatoo Island in Sydney.

iEDM and URBIS were engaged by Rockhampton Regional Council to undertake preliminary site investigations to verify site suitability for a motorsport precinct at a greenfeild site in Rockhampton.
