John Howe
Partner / Founder
Executive Chairman

Mr Howe has 30 years of experience in the
design and delivery of major domestic and
international projects in the Tourism Leisure
and Events industries. As Executive Chairman
of iEDM, Adjunct Professor of Engineering at
Griffith University and Honorary Professor
for the School of Sustainable Development
at Bond University, Mr Howe combines his extensive academic and business experience with his specialised technical design skills
to provide world class solutions to
world-class events.

Steve Orr

With over 21 year's experience, Steve is
regarded as a specialist in motorsport track
safety. As Director of iEDM's Motorsport
Event Operations section, Steve is responsible for ensuring the implementation of technical and track safety requirements to Governing Body Standards. He has had extensive experience in working with CAMS and FIA, V8 Supercars Australia and Champ Car USA.

Liam Howe
Partner / Founder
Director - Delivery Management

Over the past 9 years, Liam has had extensive experience in planning, budgeting, delivering and managing major events.
He has also been involved in the delivery
of a broad spectrum of infrastructure, civil
and property projects. As Director of iEDM's Delivery Management section, Liam's role encompasses the programming, functional design and Delivery Management of all
iEDM events.

Brett has been actively managing major events for over seven years.
As Event Operations Manager for Qld Events Gold Coast for three of those years, Brett has been directly responsible for the delivery and management of the Gold Coast Airport Marathon, Asics Sport and Leisure Expo and 2008 Pan Pacific Master Games.

Brett has extensive experience with all aspects of the operations management of major events, in-depth workplace health and safety expertise and a proven ability to deliver world-class products.

Garth Trathen
Project Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Commerce – Majors in Marketing, International Business (French) - Bond University, 2002

EXPERIENCE:
Garth is a highly motivated, skilled, creative and versatile individual with over seven years experience in marketing and the project management and development of major events. Garth has extensive dealings with contractors and coordinating construction logistics with advanced building and business development skills.

Garth demonstrates proficiency and flair coupled with strong interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external clients, organising successful large scale events, developing and simplifying procedures and strategies, and creating innovative solutions.

As Project Manager, responsibilities include site management, construction, demobilisation, programming and scheduling, development and implementation of new concepts while evaluating and managing risk, procurement, contract management and liaison with relevant parties, managing recurrent and infrastructure capital budgets on behalf of the client.

Christian Butler
Design Manager

EXPERIENCE:
Christian began his professional experience in the construction industry in 1998. Starting his career as a junior draftsperson, since then he has been gaining experience in architectural and structural design, working on major high rise projects including Circle on Cavill and Nexus Towers along with extensive experience in all aspects of the commercial/industrial development sector. Christian has worked on all aspects of design from conceptual 3D design through to workshop and detailed construction documentation. Over the past 12 years Christian has also gained extensive experience in project planning, budgeting, construction and project management.

Nathan Croke

to provide when supplying these organisations with information.
